Christmas won’t be the same without the must-have coffee with peppermint flavor. The cool sensation that peppermint leaves in the mouth is perfect for the holidays. It’s reminiscent of snow and ice. That’s why it’s such a hit during the holidays.

When paired with coffee, peppermint gives you the perfect early-morning drink on Christmas day. To take it a step further, use cocoa to make a delightful peppermint mocha latte.

Add 2 cups of brewed coffee and 3 tablespoons of sugar to a half cup of milk and 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder. Then add 1 ounce of finely chopped chocolate, 2 drops of peppermint oil, and 2 crushed peppermint sticks. Viola! Your own concoction of peppermint-flavored coffee.

APPLE CIDER LATTE

An apple cider latte is a creamy blend of hot apple cider, steamed and frothed milk, and espresso. Although hot apple cider is the more popular variant, an apple cider latte version is just as delicious, if not even more.

You start by heating coffee, cider, and sugar in a saucepan for about 5 minutes. Then add milk to a jar before you pour in the coffee. Finally, you top it off with apple pie spice and whip cream. It’s that easy!

GINGERBREAD LATTE

GINGERBREAD LATTE

With or without a shot of espresso, another must-have this holiday season is the gingerbread latte. Creamy and sweet, this favorite drink will brighten your morning and remind you of all things nice and exciting about the season.

Simply mix a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon, one-eighth teaspoon ground ginger, 2 teaspoon molasses to 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract, 1 cup milk, 3 tablespoon of strong coffee. In a small pot or a mug, mix everything together. Heat up the mixture and you’re done.

HAZELNUT MACCHIATO

If you love coffee, chocolate, and hazelnut, then a cup of hazelnut macchiato is for you. Served either hot or cold, this drink is a classic holiday drink, but because of its delightful flavor, it has become a favorite all year round.

Starbucks has its own hazelnut macchiato, which is quite popular. The Starbucks version has espresso, vanilla syrup, steamed milk and foam, and hazelnut drizzle. At home you too can create your own hazelnut macchiato

Black pepper, cinnamon, star anise, ginger, cardamom, and cloves are just some of the spices that give chai tea lattes their explosive flavor. That is, on top of black tea and milk. If you’re looking for something with a kick for a chilly winter morning, try a chai tea latte.

Here’s one good recipe you may share with your kiddos, s’mores hot chocolate. As soon as it gets chilly outside, this is the perfect comfort drink一delicious with its rich cocoa flavor and gooey melted marshmallows, melted chocolate, and graham cracker crumbs.

This classic drink is not a favorite for no reason. It is one of the tastiest drinks you can come up with in under ten minutes. Yup, it’s simple and easy to make. In fact, teach your kids how to make a cup and they will be making their own in no time一guaranteed.

Different people have different ways of preparing a s'mores hot chocolate drink, but for sure, it’s still one of the easiest to whip up.

EGGNOG LATTE

EGGNOG LATTE

Starbucks has its own eggnog latte, but save yourself the trip (and the money) by making your own concoction at home. This tasty drink is incredibly easy to make and is one of the healthiest too. And seriously, what is Christmas without a bit of eggnog here and there?

SALTED CARAMEL LATTE

Whipping your own drink at home saves you money and calories. Your own version of Starbucks’s salted caramel latte, for instance, will help ease the guilt but still give you the sinfully delicious coffee you love.

Using your favorite caramel sauce, fresh milk, coffee, and sea salt, you can create salted caramel latte according to your taste. Simply heat milk, caramel sauce, and sea salt then blend low until milk is frothy. Pour it over warm milk and you’re good to go.

IRISH COFFEE

IRISH COFFEE

Different countries serve Irish coffee in different ways, but what is always a constant is its key ingredient: Irish whiskey. Yes, this blend is definitely stronger than your regular black coffee, and it’s tastier too.

The other ingredients you need to make this blend perfect are hot coffee, brown sugar (preferred), and whipped cream. You start by brewing your coffee bean of choice and make sure it stays hot as you add the other ingredients. Lightly whip the cream to top off your Irish concoction.

Do note that it’s extremely important to use Irish whiskey for that authentic Irish taste.

We hope these delicious holiday coffee recipes will brighten the season even more for you and your family. Cheers!
